  'The Lobster Pots' is self catering holiday accommodation based in Seahouses, Northumberland, ideal for families wanting to enjoy this picturesque part of the country. Seahouses This fishing village is perfect base for a Northumbrian holiday. The harbour is full of character with colourful fishing & pleasure boats, and at night is a photographers delight. The beautiful golden beach here is safe for children and ideal for dogs to have a good run, or alternatively enjoy a walk to Bamburgh (about 3 miles) with views of the castle ahead and breathtaking views towards the Farne Islands. During the summer months boat trips to the Farne Islands, home to many different varieties of birds and to seals, leave Seahouses harbour at regular intervals throughout the day, and can be booked at several kiosks at the harbour side. There is a crazy golf course and play area for the children as well as gift shops to explore, cafes and several pubs to enjoy a refreshing pint ! A walk from the house to the cliff tops, and a left turn will take you to the harbour or alternatively a right turn will take you passed the golf course and on a walk which leads down to the beach towards Beadnell (about 2 miles). |
